As a third-generation roofing and home improvement contractor, John Cranor has experience that spans back to the mid 1970's.  John became interested in the Home Inspection profession in the mid 1990's after a disappointing experience with a home inspector. Shortly after he began to educate himself and shape his experience into a Professional Inspector where he discovered his passion.  

In 1998, John established Cranor Home Inspections.  Two years later, in July of 2000, he was hired by a multi-inspector company where he was an inspector for three years performing inspections on residential and commercial properties all over from Richmond to Virginia Beach.  In July 2003, John resumed Cranor Home Inspections.  In October 2006, John made a business decision to reorganize as Cranor Inspection Services, LLC. and has been serving Central VA since.
